Please find below some impressions from our laboratories and the most important instruments used in our research.
High performance liquid chromatography systems
We employ a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system with a chilled autosampler connected to an eight-channel CoulArray® electrochemical detector or a boron-doped diamond electrode (ESA) for the sensitive and selective detection and quantification of redox-active analytes, such as vitamin E and its metabolites, reduced and oxidised glutathione, and more.
We use this binary-gradient ultra-high pressure liquid chromatography (UHPLC, max. pressure 1,000 bar) system, equipped with a chilled autosampler and a column oven, that is coupled to a fluorescence detector to determine fluorescent analytes, such as tocopherols, phytochemicals, and their metabolites.
We use a high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) system with a diode array detector for the quantification of phytochemicals.
We use a Peqlab Fusion Fx7 fluorescence- and chemiluminescence imaging system for the detection and quantification of proteins.
We use a Bio-Rad CFX96 real-time PCR system for gene expression analyses.
